It's usually the dullest of games (in my opinion) that win these things. Those games aren't bad but you have to look further down the list for the more interesting titles.

Two great games, interesting how Ouendan is keeping up with EBA outside Japan.

Yeah. It'll always be the most common games or the ones with the broadest appeal. The expected titles, like Galaxy and Twilight Princess in the Wii list, for example.

To be fair, part of the dullness is because they're popular--that is to say, common.

Honestly, I'm surprised Ouendan is doing better than Ouendan 2--or even as well as EBA. Both EBA & Ouendan have better controls, notably being able to skip the introductory cutscenes (very nice when you're at Jumpin' Jack Flash--or if you just suck, like I do!)

Hey, its not my fault none of you else buy Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker.

Also, 'win'? Didn't know these games were in competition, lol. Aside from taking our money.

Just read the list on the first page of this thread to see a big bunch of games that people here think are good.

Well, you can go to Gamefaqs and submit a correction. I've done that for the genres of a few GB/C/A games (lotta "action: general" classifications for action puzzlers).

I find GameFAQs are often wrong when it comes to developers. They're also inconsistant, with Sega for instance some games are listed under the name of the team/subsidary within Sega but some games are listed as just "Sega".

It would be really good if there was a reliable database of all games and the developers and staff who worked on them like there is imdb for films. But there isn't (or I haven't found one).

Yes.

Problem is, it's really easy to find credits and all for movies or books or such. There's a standard for it. For games, not so much. There's also a h0rjillion game sites attempting to get gamers to come together to gather the information, the end result being a less concentrated effort.

I wonder if any of the colleges with game archives have any similar projects?

Updated! Thanks for the sticky, by the way!

I'm off this weekend, heading out to the home state to visit family. I get to see a lot of folk for the first time in over a year, and in the case of my sister-in-law and nephew, the first time ever! (I'm really looking forward to it, especially seeing my oldest brother, who is seriously laid up after getting into an accident.)

Two quick questions. First, which Nintendogs version do you have (e.g.: Chihuahua, Dachshund, Dalmation, Lab, Best Friends)? Also, is that Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe or Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian?
