The (Un)Official VCF "Lets Make A Pokemon Team"

Hello and welcome to the (Un)Official VCF "Lets Make A Pokemon Team" Project!

I have noticed that we are a few users here that likes to play Pokemon so a couple of days ago I got an idea in my head:
"Why not make a team togheter?"

The basic idea is that we together choose a Pokemon that we will build a team around and then build the team around that Pokemon.

This is how it works:

You may nominate ONE Pokemon each.

Said Pokemon must be fully evolved.

The Pokemon with the most nominations will be the one we center the team around.

In the case of a tie we will have a Poll to determine the winner.

Once the "Main" Pokemon is chosen I will start a new thread where we'll have either a discussion or a Poll on what kind of team we want, stall, rain dance etc etc.

After the "theme" of the team is decided we'll start working on the other members of the team with the helps of nominations and Polls.

We'll be using Shoddy Battle to test the team when it's done although you are more then welcome to make the team yourself on the DS ofc.

Since we're gonna use Smogons Shoddy Battle server for this project so we'll use their rule set and tier lists.

Links to both Shoddy Battle and Smogons site will be at the end of this post.

To make the Nomination phase a bit easier I have taken the liberty of deciding that this team is gonna be aimed at the OU tier.
This doesn't mean that you cannot nominate UU Pokemon but remember that the team should at least have a chance in a standard OU battle.

If you read all that I hope your ready for some fun!

Write what Pokemon you want the team to be focused around and if you want, write reasons why we should focus around that Pokemon,
you don't have to write your reasons for nominating if you don't want to but it can only help your cause

This thread and the nomination process will close on July the 25 so you guys got just under a week to nominate your favorite Pokemons.

Ursaring. A quality UU pokemon, sure it isn't quite OU but it can hold its own there. Also it won't be on every other team like Scizor is.

Gyarados is probably the best OU Pokemon. Especially a Jolly DD Gyarados with 252 EVs in Attack and Speed can rape the whole team of your opponent.

My vote goes to Gyarados.
