THIS IS NOT A PORT OF THE N64 GAME!

Erhm, now that that is out of the way...
I loved the first two Paper Mario games, they are some of my favorite games ever. Now, while Intelligent Systems let me down with Super Paper Mario not being turn-based, it appears that this new 3DS game is back to form with turn-based battles yet again! So far, the only new thing that seems to be confirmed is one of the partners who is a Chain Chomp, which we haven't seen yet, so that's cool.

This is one of the 3DS games that interested me the most. If the 3D capabilities of the 3DS are going to be used mostly for eye candy in its early years, we should at least get some interesting and varied eye candy, and Paper Mario will give us some of that.

Originally, I wasn't sure if it was a new game or a remake of an earlier game. Glad to know it's a new one.

Yea I am very relieved that it is a new game. I just played through the first one this fall and I still need to pick up the sequel. Really looking forward to the continuation of this really cool series.

Damn, I guess I really should get on the ball with playing the original one then. I have downloaded the VC version already, so I guess I could get started.

Do it. I was very hesitant, but it was one of the best games I have played.

I'm glad to see that the series is going back to being an RPG after the sub-par Super Paper Mario. Paper Mario is easily one of the best games on the VC so more people should look into it.

There was only a trailer of it in Amsterdam, but the 3D look pretty nice, especially the 3D snow.

Hehe, The Netherlands . . who would of thought that ! If only most of the games in the game industry where here earlier as well . .

Looks like the paper aspect is being handled a bit differently than in past games. If you played The Thousand Year Door, you might know what I mean.
