Looks like a couple Square Enix games are coming to North America after all.

Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes of Light (ground-up reimagining of the first FF game) is coming to NA in October.

Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals (weird action-RPG remake of Lufia II) is coming sometime in fall.

Still no word on the SaGa 2 remake yet.

Well then imagine your surprise! They look good to me. I'm dubious of the Lufia II remake, since I loved the original SNES version, and I don't know how faithful it can be to what made that game great if it's an action-RPG, but I'm sure it won't be terrible...

Hopefully we can at least get a VC release of the original out of it as the cart itself is so pricey.

Unfortunately the DS localization/publication is being handled by Natsume, which leads me to believe that Square Enix doesn't want to sink too much time and/or effort into this one. Maybe a VC release would be different, since we know SE is already on-board with the whole VC thing.
