So im not the only one here that does the é Just wish that there were a USB keyboard shortcut to do it as i have to resort to the on screen keyboard .
I know on a computer you can do it (hold alt num-pad 130) but on the Wii i have to go the long way .

130? Sounds complicated! On my computer, I just have to press option-e, then the letter I want the accent on: á, é, í, ó, ú, and more.

What operating system you are using .
Thru that does sounds easier than memorisation mutiable shortcuts for those fancy charctors .
I also forgot to mention that the iPhone OS has it there if you say hold down e as an example it comes up with a line of options eèéêë showing up so you can easily spell Pokémon on the iPhone/iPod Touch .

I just got back from Best Buy with Platinum. Once I pop it in my DS late tonight, I will post my code on Thursday. I have not played a Pokemon game since the original Gameboy Pokemon Blue so I hope it's good. I needed to buy a new DS game and picked this over some big games so I hope I'm not disapointed.

Also, I don't know why a character can't give me a pokemon if I have 6 pokemon, but if I catch one and I already have 6 it goes to my PC???

Those things you mention are just small trifles. It's not big deal. Don't let stuff like that ruin the game for you. They're tolerable.

Yeah, unfortunately for me there are more complaints then the ones that I posted above. I really wanted to like this game. I like the Pokémon themselves and I know a lot of people on the forums love this game.

I'm actually going to keep playing it for a little longer in hopes of my opinion changing.

One last complaint: I don’t understand the point of Nintendo releasing Pokémon for a limited time. I just bought the game a little bit ago and I just recently found Rotom. When I went to find out how to get the key, I found out that I can no longer get the key…..this kind of sucks IMO.

Hm. Maybe they'll have another event with that key in the future. I was kinda lucky when I got the key because I had no idea of the event. I was just hopping on Nintendo WFC to check if there was anything new.

Besides, compare the complaints with everything you can do in the game.

Never mind, I traded this game in. I couldn't bring myself to play it any longer. The one good thing is that I got some good value out of trading it in so I can honestly say that I didn't get ripped by buying this.

I finally got tired of the tedious nature of this game. Although it had a lot to do, none of the extra stuff really interested me. I'm not into entering Pokemon in contest or making Pies (or whatever they're called). I found the mini games to be boring. My last straw was when I traded a Haunter for another Haunter only to get a Haunter named Casper that had the stone that would not allow it to evolve. I tried the same trade again and again but I always ended up with another version of "Casper". Every time I searched for trades the people wanted Pokemon that were level 100 or were very rare for common Pokemon or Pokemon that only evolved through trade and Nintendo would only show you 1-6 trade options. This should be improved to do advanced trades online. Another thing that made me mad was when I was chasing Pokemon. I would travel to a nearby location and the pokemon would move instantly to another location on the map. It's just not for me but at least I gave it a good try by playing it through and giving reasons for my dislike instead of just saying "I hated it!"

Forgive me Pokemon fans of the forum, I know there are a lot of you here who really like the series.

I tried what you suggested with the Casper but I kept getting more "Caspers". I also tried the strategy mentioned about chasing Pokémon. I never said it was impossible but in my opinion it's super annoying and has no place in games today. Pokémon is a huge series and Nintendo should have worked this stuff out of the recent games. My experience with the series can be summed up in one word: Tedious

But enough of my opinions, get back to playing the games you love. I'm just one person who happens to not like pokemon platinum.....and pokemon blue.

Well, Pokemon Platinum is a *****. Today I encountered 2 Wurmples in a forest (the one where that one random girl with the Chansey follows you). Surprisingly, one was a Shiny! Unfortunately, the AI decided to kill the Shiny Pokemon, and because the game does not let you throw a Poke Ball when there are 2 Pokemon on the other side (...WHAT? Why was something like this even added, it does not help the game in the slightest! ), I could not catch it. . Considering the ridiculously low chances of finding a Shiny Pokemon (1/8192), this is horrible.

I hope the Gold/Silver remakes don't have double battles...

HeartGold/SoulSilver Players: Be sure to sign onto the Mystery Gift function some time this month. You'll unlock the pikachu trail for your walker by doing so (NA/EU/AUS).
