Donkey kong country 3: Dixie's Double Trouble.... Odd name. I remember this game back when I was young, It was so different from the others. I think. Anyway I watched the video on vc-reviews and It brings back so many memories. Like how you swim in the lake, and those bears. I'm gonna get this game once it comes out, hopefully it will come christmas time. Who knows maybe nintendo will have another accident just like DKC2 where it was released early but taken off later. Also I'm surprised this game was released 1996, I thought the snes would be done by then with the n64 and all. But that video brings my so many memories the other DKC can't bring. Can't wait.

I have the entire trilogy of DKC games on their original SNES cartridges, and this is probably the best of the three, if not close to it. There were just so many great things about it. I especially liked the Peach's Castle music from Mario 64 that sometimes plays in Wrinkly's save caves.
Almost. Nintendo released its last first-party game in November 1997 (Kirby's Dream Land 3), and the last third-party game was released in 1998 (a port of Frogger). |

I'm looking forward to this one when it's released, is it better than DKC2?

Having played and finished both, I must say I was much more impressed overall with part 2. It seems to be a bit more imaginative, has more inspired music, and the characters are somehow more appealing.
Which doesn't mean DKC 3 is a bad game, not in the least. The worse of the bunch would be DKC 1, but that one also has its own charm (despites its less polished engine). |

The worst part of DKC3 are these baby characters.
Kiddy Kong and this elephant!! Arghh.. Anyway, it doesnīt seem to make the game bad, just really kiddy. Iīm gonna get it though, as itīs basically DKC and theres nothing wrong with that. On another note: DKC1 is my favourite but DKC2 comes close. |

well the first might be worth getting. It has differn't levels and still great fun, but 2 out beats it by like 100.

It's kinda funny how in an odd way, DKC and SoR are similar.
Both (here in the 'states) were released on the same day. Both are well known for the second game in the series being the best. Both are some of the best games for their respective consoles. |
