Default How does the DS work as a controller for Wii

I was just wondering after seeing the sub heading for DS on the main page how the DS can be used as a remote for the Wii

Pokémon Battle Revolution will wet you play the game directly with the DS, and the monsters you have in the DS cartridge.

Never saw Pokémon Colosseum with GBAs connected as controllers? I think this worked also in Stadium but I don't know if there was a Transfer Pack or if you actually connected GBs at the N64...

Also Final Fantasy:Chrystal Chronicles worked this way, you connected up to 4 GBAs to the gamecube.

There were some N64 games that used the Transfer Pak.

Mario Golf -> Connect with Mario Golf (Game Boy Color) to transfer characters.

Mario Tennis -> Connect with Mario Tennis (Game Boy Color) to transfer characters and unlock new ones.

Mickey's Speedway USA -> Connect with Mickey's Speedway USA (Game Boy Color).

Perfect Dark -> Connect with Perfect Dark (Game Boy Color) to unlock cheats.

Pokémon Stadium -> Connect with Pokémon Blue/Red/Yellow to transfer game data.

Pokémon Stadium 2 -> Connect with Pokémon Blue/Red/Yellow/Gold/Silver to transfer game data.

I believe Wind Waker on 'Cube had some GBA link-up functions, as did Four Swords Adventures.
