Default Do US Wii points cards work in Europe on the VC?
I'm guessing not, but have no idea. I have a business trip to the US coming up, and with the £/$ exchange rate being so good for UK residents right now, I wondered if it was worth trying to pick up Wii points cards out there on the cheap...

Anyone tried it? I know that US/Jap games dont work on a UK machine, but that the controllers peripherals are fine - but I have no clue about the points cards.

Maybe if I mess around with the region settings...

Region locked. Atlast my EU pts card states the EU counties its usable in

I was very annoyed when I realised that they even region locked this aspect to be honest. It actually put me off my Wii for around two weeks.
