I was just playing this the other day. Not as great as the regular Sonic's but still great. Maybe I should prepare a review to post on the forum the day it comes out here...

It's not half as bad as people say. I just think it's a shame that so few people got to play the superior Saturn version (all the ports have been of the Mega Drive version). There's not much difference, but the soundtrack on Saturn is particularly good, and the slightly superior graphics and 3D bonus levels all add up, once you've played the Saturn version it's hard to go back.

I never played the saturn version but ive seen a vid on youtube of the 3D special stages. They look ace. A cool Sonic 2 Style and sonic 2 has my favourite special stages. Who could forgot those great jump wars on 2-player. TBH when i first got this game on megadrive i loved it but in a way was dissappointed that it wasnt what i expected. Also i spent ages figuring out how to get past the first big ring until my dad read the manual and found it you had to collect the flickies.

Ah, this one brings back memories!

Sadly, fond memories don't hide its clunkiness. It's still pretty cool (I love the final boss), but a pretty hard sell at 800 points.

S&K will absolutely come. Just cause they are releasing Sonic 3D first wont mean S&K wont come since Sonic Spinball got released on VC before Sonic 2 but that still got released.
