Okay, so it may still be a good while before we'll see this title, but I'm definitely interested. I like the sound of it being less complex than the regular Civ series, while maintaining the core gameplay. I just stopped playing the games after some time because I got tired of all the tedious activity. If you've played Civ 3/4 you know how loooong turns can end up being towards the end of a game. Anyways, this might be just up my alley. I wonder how it'll turn out on the DS.

Oh, and there's a nice interview with Sid Meier on IGN. I recommend downloading the video, since the flash version doesn't seem to load at all.

World of Warcraft and Civ is a bad mix. I've only tried Civ4 at a friends house and was instantly in love with it. It was the easiest game to start playing for the first time and it was really good

Civ is a damn addictive game yea. Played the series since the start and each version makes a new reason not to exit the house hehe. Looking forward to this one Sid <3

It's too bad that the Wii version will be delayed, but I might pick up the DS one, anyways. Civ on a handheld should be great.

Yea lets hope its like he said Wii dev team came late and not some crazy bugs or smt hehe. I suspect the DS version will look/feel like the classics more or less(exept its the lite action version)
