Well I bought the game used and it didn't come with the manual, also I was looking for a more detailed answer, I know what the abbreviations stand for but what does each stat represent during gameplay?

ATK & DEF are pretty straight forward--the higher they are, the better your attack & defense.

I'm not sure what else they do, but STR & CON affect your ATT & DEF. If you boost your STR by X, you also boost your ATT by X/2 (rounded down to the nearest whole).; boost your CON by X, boost your DEF by X/2 (rounded down to the nearest whole). So, +15 to STR is +7 to ATT. You can view this easily by toggling the upper screen to stats and casting a STR or CON raising spell.

If you want an extra boost to either your ATT or DEF during a fight, these four stats are the ones to pay attention to.

INT is your magic attack strength (Charlotte) and subweapon strength (Jonathan). Maximize it if you want your spells or subweapons to do more damage.

MND is your magic defense. (I haven't quite figured this one out, mechanically. I imagine the higher it is, the less damage you take from spells. I just don't know what enemy attacks get routed to MND and which get routed to DEF--what are considered "spells" and what aren't. You'd think it'd be pretty straightforward, but then again, Jonathan's subweapons are "magic.")

LCK is your item droprate. If you want to go farming for items, boost your LCK with equipment and spells.
