There's been a lot of bad critisism on it, but even after AVGN's review I still feel it's worth a try...
Anybody who think's it's worth getting then tell. P.S. Wii Points are no object EDIT: Just relized forum misplacement; sorry. |

I'm an old school gamer, and I didn't think it was as bad as a lot of people made it out to be. But still, it is cryptic, and if you don't have some vague notion beforehand that you're supposed to equip certain items and crouch at certain locations in order to make certain things happen, then I can see how you can get lost or stumped. The invisible pits are annoying, too.
On the other hand, if you have no problem with using GameFAQ's or watching play-throughs on YouTube, then you shouldn't have too much trouble. IMHO, the game is a bit more fun when you actually know what you're supposed to be doing. In short, you might not like it at first, but the more familiar you become with it, the better it gets. |

You've probably already figured out how to deal with the invisible pits, but in case you haven't, here are a few hints:
- Use the Holy Water to determine where the pits are. If it falls through the floor, then you know where to jump. - Enemies will not walk over fake floors. If they change directions in the middle of a clear path, test that area with the Holy Water. - Sometimes the pits are lined up with features in the background, like pillars. It makes it easier to keep track of them. - It pays to be a little paranoid. Remember the words of Indiana Jones when it looks as if the path is clear: "That's what scares me." Good luck! |
