Call of Duty 4

Anybody got this yet?

I'm probably gonna leave it til Christmas but trailers have looked very good. The main complaint I've heard is a short campaign mode, which is what I would be my main interest. Reviews have been good all round so I was wondering if anyone has any impressions on CoD 4?

I've only had the chance to do the training, and it was ok. But not great.

Heard it's mint. But as I say, I've not had the chance to play (And what with Galaxy coming tomorrow, I doubt I'll get the chance to before he trades it in).

You can tell it's been made by the yanks, because every Brit has a deep cockney accent and speaks in slang

My friend has bought it, I played it at his house but it was okay. It was pretty stupid to see someone fall down on his knees when a grenade explodes under their feet. He said he had finished the game in 10 hours and said he was pretty good in it but when I played with the English against his Russians, I won .

My mate got all 1,000 gamer points for it in under 36 hours. He beat it I think 3 times. Plus played the hell out of the online.

Is it easy to get gamer points then? And is the game worth buying or just for a rental?

If you're not gonna play it online, then as long as you have the time to go at it, rent it.

But, gamestation allow you to take games back for your cash. Well, for a credit note. But if there was something else out that you wanted to play, then you could just swap it over.

Well some the the achievements are for beating it on Veteran, which he said was very hard, but it still only took him a few hours to do so.

But then again, he's really good at shooters. I've never understood why he didn't go in for the competitions. Because he really is that damn good.

Oh right I see then, it's just I'll be getting a few games for Christmas and don't want too many shooters, as I'm already getting Corruption, MoH, Wii Zapper and UC...

I'd say wait then, or get COD over MOH.

Because what's MOH got that COD doesn't?

If you can play online, COD's gonna have the better. MOH's on the Wii's laggy stone age WI-FI. Totally upto yourself of course though, it depends on what you like in a shooter.

But if you're getting 2 on the Wii already, then do you really want a third?
