Default Boom Blox

I just picked Boom Blox up over my lunch break. It was between this and Kart, and I was leaning towards Kart but in the end I thought I would try something different. I'll post my first impressions on Wednesday.

This looks like a pretty fun game. I watched a Video of it and it looks like loads of fun.

I only got a chance to play the tutorial and multiplayer with my wife last night.

The multiplayer is awesome fun and my "non-gaming" wife had a lot of fun playing it. I can't wait to see if the single player game is as good as the multiplayer games; but so far I can recomend this to anyone looking for something different.....or a good "jenga like" game.

Everyone keeps telling me that the multiplayer is superb... now if I just were able to drag someone in here to play with me.

Single-player certainly isn't a slouch and highly recommended if you want all tools for creating stages. I have yet to get around to building anything. My favorite set of stages so far are the ones in which I have to remove blocks from precarious towers without the Cows falling of the top platform. Great fun and quite challenging, especially when trying to go for gold. At the same time, it's also fun when I'm failing miserably and seeing the towers starting to crumble while I'm trying to frantically grab a few more blocks before the blox characters go up in a puff of smoke.

I finally got a chance to play some single player. I played through two sets of puzzles in the Explore mode and only one puzzle in Adventure mode. I had a lot of fun playing single player but it's the multiplayer that makes this game awesome.

I had a friend over last night to play it and we played for 2 hours. He was good at the puzzle where you throw but he sucked at the "Jenga-like" puzzles. He always ended with negative points but it was so funny watching him topple tower after tower.

I have not created anything yet but if anyone else has created a puzzle send it to me and I will play it.

I've been hearing very good things about this. I'd love to hear people's thoughts on it.

A really addictive game that you can't stop once you start. I'll try to best describe the game. For starters, it's a game that really is 4-6 games in one and are centered around blocks. The physics are perfect. There's one game that is like Jenga but 500 times better then jenga. It's a puzzle game that a child could play but it'll take a gamer to master some of the puzzles. I replayed a lot of the puzzles in an attempt to get gold on them. I've put some time into this game and I'm not even half way done....I'm wondering how many puzzles are in this game! If you're looking for something completely different....buy Boom Blox. It's an awesome puzzle game as well. My family and friends love it.
