The Franchises of Nintendo: Metroid Part 1

Posted 27th March 2008 at 05:40 AM by Serge.EXE
Being bored and having time, here's Part 1 of my look into the Metroid Series.

The Franchises of Nintendo: A Closer look

Posted 27th March 2008 at 03:35 AM by Serge.EXE
Hey guys,

For my next bunch of Blog posts, I'm going to be going into several Nintendo franchises and giving an in-depth look at them. This will include Ranking each game in the Franchise (Going to be a ***** for Mario and Zelda, but I choose to do this for all of you , but some rules may be put into place so not all games may be mentioned.), taking a good long look at specific games in the series, and giving my overall thoughts and feelings.

I posted this as an overview...

I honestly wish I had the time and patience to make a game like that, as homebrew games can turn out to be completely amazing.

It is so awesome to see when normal folk like us, some of whom may have a talent for programming and...

Serge's Review Corner: Advance Wars Days of Ruin

Posted 16th March 2008 at 05:29 AM by Serge.EXE
For those who know me, it's fairly plain to see that I love Advance Wars games for the GBA and DS. So, here is my review of the newest and most radically different game in the series: Days of Ruin.

Pre-Release Hype: When Advance Wars was first released as an early Game Boy Advance title, it was pure bliss for those who enjoyed any type of strategy game. Turn-based strategy was a dying breed of game at the time, but AW breathed new life into the series. With it's cute, cartoonish style...
