I was shopping at my favorite Game Stop the other day when I spotted a Game Boy Advance game called Egg Mania. I'd never heard of the game before, nor did I immediately recognize the name of the publisher, Kemco. The label of the game, which features a hot pink anthropomorphic egg, did nothing to tell me what the game was about, or sell the game on me. The price tag, on the other hand ($3) did.

It's a puzzler, as it turns out, and a rather fun one. A bit frustrating at times, too....

I screwed up my Game Boy Color screen. Everything else works, near as I can tell. The unit turns on, loads the game, buttons work, sound works, etc. The screen, however, won't display the proper visuals. It is almost completely black: there are some very faint, flickering horizontal lines at the top of the screen.

I bought it second hand and the d-pad wasn't responding well, so I opened it up to clean. There is a ribbon cable that connects the screen to the rest of the unit. I creased...
