Why Action Replays Suck

Action Replay, a device that hacks into your game system to easily beat the game. I had the awful misfortune of putting my game in this horrid device
. I was having a bit of trouble getting through Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, so I was gonna put it in, beat the hard part, take it out, and never use it again. In the short time I had it in, it erased my file!!!
Action Replays are cheap crap that just hurts your game. You even have to update to the next version if you want to use it on a certain game!! I have posted this so people who are considering getting one can change their minds before it's too late.
DIE DATEL!!!!!! DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| | Really? I have an Action Replay for Gamecube and have used Action Replays for the DS and GBA and I've never had a single problem with it on any of the games. The trick is to use cheats that don't do anything too drastic and to be as careful as possible. Try not to do things that completely go against what a game is normally capable of. (for example, don't walk through walls too much or something like that) |

| | My personal experience shows that Action Replays suck because they're crappily made and easily breakable. |

| | This blog came up as random featured, so I just read it. I had an Action Replay for my GameBoy. Didn't work for all my games, but did a decent job on those it did work for. Used it primarily to skip levels in some games when I couldn't get further. Also used it in games I already had beaten once, just to see what it could do. As it was too much fuss to use it and 'train' it to come up with codes for unknown games (not listed bij Action Replay), I stopped using it after a while. As I can't comment on other editions, I also can't agree or disagree with the stated problems. |
