RANDOMIZATION

Introduction
A lot of randomizing is done exploting Art, Areas and Contacts.
Using Switches can be effective, too: randomizing on Art is generally more "economic", but it can be annoying to program and frustrating to debug, if you incur in some errors or are experimenting. Switches' status is easier to follow while "debugging" your game and it also allows for working with "raw-logic", which I personally find extremely fun....

CONTINUOUS SCROLLING

RECIPE
Draw enough sprites to cover the whole height/width of the screen, PLUS one more.
Place the sprites aligned PERFECTLY one with the other, the additional one placed out of the screen, aligned as well, at the opposite side of the scrolling direction.
All sprites must be set to be moving at the same speed and at the same time.

WARIO WARE DIY - BOOK OF TECHNIQUES

Introduction
Wario Ware DIY is a very great piece of software.
It is extremely limited, but this should be seen as an opportunity to get really creative and do some amazing stuff: I personally believe that some of the most impressive stuff uses to come from explicitly limited "environments" (one example above all: the 16bits Demo Scene of the 90s).
So, learning to exploit the few things we're allowed to manage, interesting...

So recently I just decided to choose the best of those Lotads I had, transefer it to Diamond and train that instead.
It turned out to be a lucky choice. The IVs of the female I picked up are good with tops in Special...

Mutando, lvl. 100 Dialga

Posted 6th April 2008 at 05:51 PM by neuzd
It doesn't seem there are too many people out there who are training their monsters, my topic about heavy training didn't get any answers, so to avoid bumping a thread I'm the only one interested in, I'm moving the discussion here.

About Mutando, it's worth noticing the IVs of the stats I tried to push, 8 for Special Attack and 0 for Speed. I feel like someone played a joke on me.
The other IVs are average, the 28 in Special Defense is the only thing that aides this Dialga...
