Gonna level with you- know next to nothing about this system. What are the best games for it?

Depends what kind of games you like. My faves are (and have always been) Neutopia, Neutopia II, and Dragon's Curse. The Bonk games are good platformers.

IMO

Devil's Crush (Terrific pinball game)
Lords/Gate of Thunder (Top horizontal shooters)
R-Type (best version of this classic ever released)
Blazing Lazers (one of the best shmups ever)
Military Madness (inspiration for Advanced Wars)
Dragon's Curse (best version of this great game released)
Dynastic Hero (TurboCD sequel to Dragon's Curse)
Bonk 1,2,3 (TG16's answer to Mario)
Super Volleyball (suprisingly fun)

A lot of games people say are great I never played so I can't answer to that (Neutopias, Ys, Legendary Axe, Bomberman)

Hope it helps a bit.

Oh, really? I looked at a whole bunch of TG16 gameplay videos and they look like they suck.
