Beginner shooter

Whats the best shooter for someone who has never played a shooter, besides air zonk. So something simple, not too hard, and fun.

blazing lazers is a good game for a beginner.

Blazing Lazers is probably the easiest to get into, although the last couple of levels are quite challenging. Other than that, Soldier Blade isn't very difficult to pick up and is alot slicker than its more aged predesessor, Blazing Lazers. Lords of Thunder and Gate of Thunder are both great, but hard!!

Lords of Thunder is so intense I forget to blink. My contact lenses dry up and fall out! It's runs at a blistering pace. Not one for a beginner, but one of the best shooters from the '90's no doubt.

Got it, kamikaze(lives+bombs) ftw :P
Still need a tactic here(between 4th and 5th miniboss) for future reference.


A little general tip: if you hug the top the enemies spawn earlyer.
