Default Banjo Games Possible?

This is pure speculation, but would it be at all possible to port the N64 Banjo games to the DS ala Diddy Kong Racing? They're have been some obvious roadblock releasing it on the VC, but as there is no MS competitor in the handheld market, MS has nothing to lose and only profit to gain. Seems win-win...

Ah yes, there has been lots of talk about this in forums often leading to flaming but here is what I know.
RARE is making 2 DS games atm, one is Viva Piniata and the other one is unconfirmed, heres hoping for Banjo on DS!

There were two Banjo games on GBA so why not? I think it's quite likely as it could tie in with the release of the Xbox 360 game.

Why the heck not? VC is a big problem for Rare, so I can't see why they can't port BK onto the DS

Although it might promote the upcoming Banjo 3... o.o

Any good? Almost all my GBA games are RPGs, I've been looking to pick up a few platformers. Just finished up Klonoa the other day, and had a lot of fun with it.

The first one was pretty good. A nice reminder of what BK games are like for someone like me who hasnt played one in years.

The 2nd (Racing) I hear is terrible.

Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge is an isometric 3D platformer, it's very good but a bit short. The other game is the racing game Banjo Pilot.

Rare is able to design games for Nintendo handhelds still. I believe that is the case at least.

Banjo has appeared on the GBA twice since the buyout. His absence from Diddy Kong Racing DS doesn't bode well, though, I will admit that.
