I remember before the forum was created, Yoshi story was on the waiting list. In March it was on the waiting list! paper mario came out before it and it was on the waiting list in what june? I know n64 games take long to come out but this is takeing. And it's not even rated its a strong rumour. I dont even think it's gonna come out soon.

Its hugely rumored to be the next N64 game, so I d look out for the Japanese September list of release around next week as that usually give us an idea. If it isnt on that, I m sure it won't be too long.

I'm just praying we don't get Aerofighters Assult first. One more vehicle/racing game for N64 and I might just go mad.

No-one can tell what games come out, so I guess the only thing to say is be patient. It'll probably be out in 2 months time.

Super Mario 64 (first year title '97)
Mario Kart 64 (first year title '97)
Lylat Wars (first year title '97)
Ocarina of Time (second year title '98 )
F-Zero X (second year title '98 )
Paper Mario (fifth year title '01 - but is a good preview advertisement for Super Paper Mario I suppose)
Wave Race 64 (first year title)

just speculating.

Yoshi's Story is a second year title ('98 ) so we wouldn't have long to wait.
I think it's gonna be out on VC this year.

Other Nintendo games that came out within the first year of N64's lifespan:

Pilotwings 64 (Nintendo/Paradigm) EU: March 07
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (LucasArts) EU: April 07
Killer Instinct Gold (Nintendo/Rare) EU: June 07
NBA Hangtime (Nintendo/Midway) EU: July 07
Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey (Nintendo/Midway) EU: July 07
Blast Corps (Nintendo/Rare) EU: August 07
Bomberman 64 (Nintendo/Hudson) EU: October 07
Diddy Kong Racing (Nintendo/Rare) EU: November 07
Mischief Makers (Nintendo/Enix) EU: December 07

Early '98 titles

Tetrisphere (Nintendo/H2o) EU: January 08
Cruis'n USA (Nintendo/Midway) EU: February 08
Yoshi's Story (Nintendo) EU: March 08

1080° Snowboarding, Banjo-Kazooie, GoldenEye etc.

And since Konami is onboard maybe we will see
International Superstar Soccer 64, (and ISS 98 and ISS 2000) but I doubt it.
First they'll release ISS and ISS Deluxe for SNES.
And before that happens we'll get Nintendo World Cup (NES)
and other older soccer titles.
Anyways, Konami's first N64 release would be Aerofighters Assault.
I hope there's coming Hybrid Heaven and the Goemon Games soon after.

Also should be noted that all the N64 games that have been released have been on the IQue. Coinsidence? I doubt it.

Still, Yoshi's Story was on the IQue as well so we could see it next, or, if the trend continues:

Excitebike 64 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Excitebike_64)
Super Smash Bros. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Smash_Bros.)
Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Earth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sin_and_Punishment:_Successor_of_the_Earth)
Animal Forest (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_Forest)
Dr. Mario 64 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Mario_64)
Custom Robo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Custom_Robo_%28Nintendo_64%29)

Yes I know, the unreleased stuff from Japan is unlikely, but never say never.

If ever, Animal Crossing (N64) will remain JP Only. It's like the Gamecube version, which was released worldwide, just less.
And if the Japanese get it, then Nintendo are likely to edit out all of the included NES games.
I doubt we'll ever see this on the VC. I don't care.
We have much better Gamecube and DS versions and a much better Wii version is on it's way, making this one redundant.

Excitebike 64 is very likely to come but it will be edited in the same way as Animal Crossing.
I bet they'll take out the original Excitebike only to make more money.
Who would download Excitebike if they can get it for free within Excitebike 64?

But there's hope that Custom Robo and Sin&Punishment could be released for the first time worldwide.
I really wish for Sin&Punishment.
By the way, Custom Robo Arena was released on Nintendo DS (worldwide) a few months ago.
It's the best version with online multiplayer, so this makes the two N64 games unnecessary.

Apart from these statements, I don't see any connection from the IQue to the VC.

I understand about the remove NES games part, but that could be a problem for 1 game, DK64. You did have to play DK to get that N64 coin and the same for Jetpac for the Rareware coin.

As for the Japan only games, maybe. Though with a big "NEVER RELEASED IN THE US/UK!" slogan or something, they d proberly make bigish bucks. Also, they could release em when those NES games stop getting the downloads or just raise the points a bit.

On aonther note, Dr Mario 84 was only ever released in America. Japan did get it, but it was part of that Puzzle Collection for the GC.

Oh, gosh, I hope we don't get Yoshi's Story so soon. I can't stand what they've made to the great Yoshi's Island...but Aerofighters Assault wouldn't be any better. I just hope for Beetle Adventure Racing, although this would mean there were really lots of N64 racers out already.

cmon all three of these games aren't bad.

there are better ones but alas, the N64 got some 4 star games as well.

I don't know. I'd probably give Yoshi's Story and AFA only 2 or 3 stars. BAR, though, is really good. :)

Would be nice if we had a Yoshi themed September for the hell of it. Then we can have both Yoshi's Island and Story in the same month. ^^
