RMA

I recently changed the batteries on my Wii Remote and have been experiencing problems when playing baseball on Wii Sports...every now and then it seems to lose it's connection with the Wii. I've tried to reset it but no joy, tried the other remote and fine but...I know it's weird...it's my favourite! Any ideas?

Eh, first thing you should try is to switch batteries again. It might be the new ones that isn't strong enough to keep the WiiMote going.
If the problems stays...I have no idea, maybe buy a new one or contact Nintendo on any way.

Some people have reported that turning the Wiimote over and giving it a smack on the battery compartment fixes the issue. No really. It sounds weird, but it apparently works.

Sorry...should have been more specific. When I said 'reset' I meant 'synching'...
Anyhoo...kelvingreen's 'bang the back of it' solution worked perfectly!
Two big thumbs up for that Mr Green.

LOL...yeah...drop beats, not bombs man!
Funny...Kelvins advice reminds me of the first I was told in the RAF about fixing faulty equipment.
'If it's not working, pick it up six inches and drop it. If it's still not working, f*** it and go down the pub.'

You're welcome! I recall hearing this advice just after the Wii was released in the US. I have no idea why it works, but it seems to!

Sounds to me like the batteries are just getting shaken loose from their connectors slightly. If instead of hitting the back you opened the battery compartment & nudged the batteries back into place, it'd probably have the same effect as hitting the back. It's just faster to give it a good whack..
I have a TV remote that does the same thing & I eventually just folded a piece of paper & wedged it between the battery & the battery cover & then shut it. Problem solved.
