Hello.

I have bought a 40GB Playstation 3 and I notest if I hold up my controller to a Light Bulb it does not become clear and see through, this also happens to my friend with a 40GB Playstation 3 aswell.
But when I hold up my other friends 60GB Playstation 3 controller to Light Bulb I notest it does become clear and see through.

I have googled this, the only thing I can find is forum pages such as this one where everybody is texting yay I have a clear controller!

My plane Black controller does not bother me, I like this one better but I'm interested in why our controllers are different.

Thanks.;)

Noticed*
If you are annoyed at it not being see through then just find one on Ebay or something for way more than it should cost.

The 60GB is one of the launch SKUs, the 40GB came out much later. Sony probably just changed the way the controllers were produced during the later runs. It's like saying "why does my launch Wii Remote not come with a Wii Remote Jacket?"

That makes a lot of sence if you want a lot of "cholesterol".
