Are there any more VC releases for the Genesis, in the US, or have Nintendo (and other parties) decided that there won't be anymore? I love scrolling shooters in particular, but Bio-Hazard Battle is the only one that's been released.:( I'd love to see MUSHA, and some shooters from Rennovation.

Most of these upcoming Genesis/MD games have already seen releases in Japan or Europe:

VC-R lists 14 Genesis games "coming soon" to North America, at least a few of which probably aren't coming soon to North America (Warsong, *sob*). But there you have it.

If you also enjoy colorful and lighthearted games, you might like Super Fantasy Zone, which is theorically planned for release.

It's a quite fun game, almost like TwinBee in a horizontal setting, but with its own charm.

I've emulated Super Fantasy Zone before, and I do love it, and I really hope it makes it over here.

The lack of Genesis games might have something to do with the Master System coming soon.

I can't see the connection.

I can't see the connection.

Why not? Both systems are by Sega.
And which one is better/newer? The Mega Drive of course.

I can't understand why Sega didn't start with the Master System beforehand,
but I'm glad it's there now,
and it might put the Mega Drive into shadows for quite some time, because there's literally hundreds of Master System games.

We are getting Puyo Puyo 2 on Monday so at least they are giving us something.
