RE:UC. Thinking this was just another awful RE spin off I decided to stay well away and avoid all footage.
Well, Gamer T.V just showed some and it looks just like the type of game I could enjoy for hours :)
There seems to always be 2 people in view, so hopefully it's 2 player :)
RE 4 Wii takes away one of the biggest things that I disliked about RE 4 NGC, so I think i'm gonna get that too :)
Good ol' Capcom, they can always save a console for me :)

It's definitely a game I'll be getting. Some of the screenshots I've seen look really good as well

I'll be getting both RE4 Wii Edition and UC, unless UC gets horrible reviews. I beat the hell out of RE4 on the GC, but I'll still get the Wii version because I don't have my GC copy anymore.
As for UC, it looks good for an on-rails game, but I have doubts.

Not getting RE4, still got the GC version and Seperate Ways really doesn't warrant me buying the game again.
Getting Umbrella Chronicles, but it's gonna take a while for it to be released.
Next game that comes out that I want is Mario Strikers Charged Football. 19 more days!

In my opinion, Resident Evil is a mere thread on the blanket of shooting games. Mega Man takes up two threads and Metroid Prime is about the size of a baby elephant on that blanket.

Never liked the RE series. Just never enjoyed. It's always scared the crap out of me haha. I'm really looking forward to SSBB, Galaxy and Paper Mario. The sooner Paper Mario get's a UK release, the better.

I've never been a fan of the Prime games. Except Hunters.
Hunter had what the others didn't. Good easy controls that didn't hinder the gameplay.
Gamer T.V reckon a July or August release for UC in the U.K.

I was going to get Resi 4 for GC, but the cost of the game, a controller and a memory card will probably be around the same as getting the Wii edition anyway, so I may as well get that.
Not sure about Umbrella Chronicles. I'm not a fan of on-rail-shooters, but we'll see how it turns out.
At the moment, the games I'm looking forward to most are Guilty Gear XX Accent Core and Fire Emblem.

I'm just taking it out of thin air. I dislike first person shooters.

Woohoo Guilty Gear XX Accent Core ftw! I posted about that in another thread I think. A new opportunity for me to continue my lifelong love of (and some might say obsession with) 2D fighters.
As for UC? On-rails shooting in a game world I've never enjoyed? Not so much.

I don't remember where I saw it, I think it was Gamespot, but I've read that Resi 4 is going to be sold for around $30 instead of the normal price.
I think Capcom relizes that they can't sell the same game three times. I can't confirm this though but it would be nice if it's true.

Yeah, Resi 4 Wii is probably going to be at a reduced price, which is only fair.

Not over here bud. Everywhere has it listed as a regular game price wise :( :( :(
That really sucks IMO.

Will they both come out as full priced $50 games or am I correct in memory that RE 4 will be budget.

It's confirmed at $30 in the states, which sounds like a bargain, and about the price these remakes should be sold for. But in the UK, they'll probably pull a Metal Slug Anthology and price it the same as other Wii games.

Metal Slug Anthology is $40 in the states, but still 10$ too much if you ask me.
I encourage anyone who hasn't play Resi4 to give the Wii edition a chance. I say this as a newcomer to the RE game franchise, that game is pure brilliance.

At least that's $10 less than normal. Here it was the same £40 as other Wii games. Doing the maths, that ends up being... (drumroll, please) $76 or so at current exchange rates.
Having said that, I was at the store at 10 am the day it came out to get mine. I love Metal Slug. Metal Slug loves me. Platonically.

I've...never even played a Metal Slug game...

I got the PSP MS:A. Better controls 8)
I disliked many a thing about RE 4. Being a huge RE fan, I wasn't happy with the changes at all.
Had it not been RE, i'd have probably loved it.
But all games deserve a second chance and the Wii version looks better anyway, so i'll get it.

I never really got into horror games with the exception of Zombies Ate My Neighbors. So, I won't be getting either RE game.

Game has Resi 4 Wii listed at £34.99, which is a fiver off full price. And again, getting the GC version for about £20, and adding a controller for about £15, you're already paying the same amount, without adding in the ocst of a memory card. So if you haven't bought any GC games yet (like me), the Wii edition is actually not a bad deal.
