I sure hope so, one of the mane reasons I got a Wii is to play Banjo and Kazooie. I remember I got up to the last boss, but I could never beat it. I barely played Banjo Tooie, but I thought it would be a great game even better than Ocarina of Time! But since that whole thing about Microsoft owning Rare, I don't think we'll see these great games. Also I herd Banjo and Kazooie 3 is for the 360 =, what's up with that? Anyway please post your replies.

B-K 3 is coming out of the 360, as are all Rare games now. In fact, there is absolutely no chance that we'll see Rare games on the Wii unless Rare becomes third party or if Microsoft sells Rare back to Nintendo.

Oh well that sucks. I was really looking forward for those games, But we will get rare games on the virtual console because Donkey Kong Country came out and that's a rare game. And I think we will get the other games.

Donkey Kong Country was made by Rare, but features Nintendo characters. As such it and DKC2 (And probably DKC3 and DK64 in the future) are on VC.

Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Perfect Dark, Killer Instinct, etc. all feature Rare characters and as such are not likely to ever appear unless Microsoft approves (No).

Goldeneye 007 is another issue, as while Rare made it, the Bond license is currently owned by Activision. So Nintendo'd have to get approval from both Activision and Rare (I think). Reggie also commented on this possibly taking too much effort (and money) to be worth it.

Diddy Kong Racing recently got ported to the DS, so they pretty much got that one covered. Perfect Dark had a sequel on the 360, so I don't it will come for the VC. I hope they will put the money and effort into getting GoldenEye on the VC, I think a lot of people will download it since it was, and still is, so popular on the N64.

Note that Banjo and Conker were both removed from Diddy Kong Racing DS and replaced with Dixie and Tiny Kong. Microsoft don't want their title-characters in Nintendo's games, and that was proven with that port.

Really? Didn't know that. Well that then kinda settles it that Rare only licenses, such as Banjo, will not make an appearence on a Nintendo console whilst Microsoft has their licenses.

Me neither. They did let Nintendo release Banjo Pilot so I figured they'd let them release Diddy Kong Racing as it was as well.

Banjo Pilot and B-K: Grunty's Revenge were both released before Microsoft even got a Banjo game (They've got one coming now). I think that's the reason they could be released.

There's some chance that we'll see Rare on the VC, but no chance we'll see new Wii Banjo games, simply because they'll be instantly popular. Games like Grunty's Revenge and Pilot Microsoft have allowed Nintendo to publish because they ain't gonna sell much, but at least it keeps Rare in business to make the Xbox games.

I believe Rare is still able to make games for handhelds outside of Microsoft, but as for consoles, Rare has to stick with the 360.

However, all of Rare's current handheld games that are not Donkey Kong ports are third party and published by THQ, Nintendo has nothing to do with them whatsoever.

Yeah I'd rather let rare go outta bussinus then let xbox keep it. It's just Nintendo will never be the same without rare. Nintendo should make a deal with xbox for rare games on vc like split the money 75/25. xbox gets the bigger half because they own rare and might give it a shot. Even if Nintendo gets the little half they'll still get a bunch of money with Banjo and kazooie. But Microsoft will probally be greedy and want 100% of the money and make nintendo fans buy the 360 just for banjo and kazooie, curse them!

Nintendo sold Rare to THQ, then THQ sold Rare to Microsoft, Nintendo Owned Banjo and Conker for a while (They where on DKR before they had their own games) but Rare somehow got those video games for theirself which sucks, and by the way BK3 has been cancelled(I think)
