The topic was an incoherent mess. Get Punch-Out!! and Contra. All of the Contras they have.

Maybe you should've said what types of game you like.... -_-

Maybe "Kirby's adventure"?
It's probably too easy though...

Urban Champion.

That or Bubble Bobble. Your choice I suppose

Your topic doesn't make sense.

However, if you can only get one game for the NES, it should be Kirby's Adventure. It is one of the best on many levels and has both length on its original play and tons of replay value.

But there's also many other great options, such as the original Zelda, Bubble Bobble, Ninja Gaiden, Mario 3, Mario 1, etc.

Not to mention gems hardly anyone picks up like NES Open or Gradius.

How about this. Look on YouTube at what's on the VC and choose one yourself.

We did.
We're asking you to spell correctly what you write, possibly after having thought of what you're going to say/ask (a thing that could result in a comprehensible message even with typos and mispellings).

Now for some more useful answer.
It is difficult to decide for someone else, as you see anyone has his own tastes and what is a hit for someone may be a delusion for someone else. Talking of retro gaming this is even more evident: someone may feel attached to a particular game because he played and loved it when he was a child; maybe the game sucked already in that time, but the gamer won't care. That game is in his heart and he simply loves it, it doesn't matter if the game was horrible.
These boards have spawned because the community following vc-reviews (http://www.vc-reviews.com) was growing fast.
So we live in function of that site. Have you ever been there? There are reviews of all the games available on the VC, and there a lot of gameplay videos too, mainly captured by Drake (one of the mods here and reviewer on vc-reviews), so why don't you have a look there and then choose for yourself the game you want?
Another good (I'd say even official) and probably more useful to you would be DEMON212 video reviews (http://it.youtube.com/user/DEIVION212). Being video reviews, you'll have clear gameplay example while having someone who describes other aspects of the game that can't be 'felt' just watching a video.
Lost with all this speech? I hope not..................

super mario word and zelda link to the past however i have only played the gba versions of these games, i dont know if there is any differents between vc and gba. i dont know what types of games you like so pick a genre and the best vc game of that genre is next to it
platform - super mario bros or super mario world
adventure - zelda link to the past/ orcarina of time
puzzle - solomons key
arcade - bubble bobble
rpg - paper mario/ breath of fire
racing - f-zero x
shooting - megaman (only out in europe and classed as a platform game but i dont like shooting games)

I chose this one to be different. It's a puzzle game and an awesome competitive multiplayer game for upto 5 players.
