Is this the unit overheating or an emulation issue?

I purchased F-Zero X for the VC. I noticed when I'm racing I see these lines of white dots in random placement on the track when I race around the track. I don't seem to see them when I hit home to bring up the exiting options. It's making me worried as my Wii is only 3 days old and I don't want to cash in warranty so soon. I'm hearing conflicting issues. THanks.

Same thing here. Nothing to be worried about. It's just the emulator doing funky things. In the heat of a race I don't notice it at all, anyways.
