I've just been through the game and been told i need to start again to get the bracelet (Which I knew). Question is, where is it? I don't want to get to the end again and find out I should have picked it up on level 2. Where should I be looking?

Hoho, don't worry about that :P You just need to play through the levels again.

I believe you find it in a treasure chest just like a normal weapon. I'm not 100% sure though, haven't played this game in ages.

Try getting all the possible upgrades (armors and shields), then destroying another chest.

So is that game really super hard? is it do-able if you keep at it?

Super Ghouls N Ghosts is absolutely beatable. It's just very hard and very demanding. The only way to beat it is to keep at it.

Props for actually having the skill to beat the game.

Yeah seriously, anybody who's stuck this one out has my respect. Did you ever go through it again to the end Sonic?

I just got SGNG yesterday, I'm on the second half of lvl four, but that's taken me several hours. Intense game!

I'm glad the continues are practically endless, as long as you keep getting the money bags. I've played the last level more than 20 times now and I still can't beat it. Though I'm getting closer...

Is it your second time through? I just am starting mine. Good luck.

Thanks man, yeah that was my second time through. I just beat it about 15 minutes ago and man do I feel relieved. :D I've been playing that last level for almost a week and I was finally able to get past it. Sardius was really a pushover compared to all the crap you had to go through to get to him... not that I'm complaining about that.

If I'd had this much trouble with an average game I would have given up before I completed it. But Super GnG is quite addicting despite of the difficulty. Even now I wouldn't mind playing it again because it's just very fun.

Congrats! Word, it is a good game. I am really enjoying it, still finding it plenty challenging playing on Beginner. I've been trying to get through the second half of the 3rd lvl, with the spinning columns. It was difficult the first time through, but I think SGnG gets a little harder the second time? I'm not exactly sure why but it seems like there has been a bit more badguys perhaps. Uhh ok gonna go play it. ;)

Yeah it's supposed to get a little harder, but tbh I didn't really notice the difficulty change. That second half of the 3rd level is a really good place to collect moneybags for more continues.

What are the difficulties in the game?

There is beginner, normal, expert, and professional.

Beginner is challenging, but it's not too hard if you keep playing to learn the levels, get down the jumping, and find the treasure chests (you get upgrades from them, but they are only revealed through jumping or standing in specific spots). Anyway I am now on the last level but it's taken me many tries since it is a tough level. However, it's only taken me like three days to get there playing a couple of hours a day, so it's not the hardest game ever, on beginner, like it very well may be on some of the higher difficulty levels. I hope it's not thaaat much harder on normal because I'm gonna try that next. But yeah, beginner isn't difficult beyond any sensibilities and although you will die a fair amount, it's still really fun.

edit: Short answer: yes. still can't beat that last level. Does anybody have recommendations of beatin those last bosses with the ring?

IDreamInSound

The only advice I can think of is to really memorize their moving/attack patterns. That's basically what it took for me to finally beat the bosses after playing it a bajillion times. Sorry, maybe someone else can provide a better tip. Good luck and keep trying!

Well I beat it after all. I was seriously having doubts having played it pretty much all day yesterday, :lolo: but this morning I beat it. Ghosts and Goblins just came out on VC but I don't think I'm getting that one; however, probably will get the genesis Ghouls n Ghosts.

This game is a serious challenge and if it's get too hard a 2nd controller can do the magic trick (cheat).

You could always use the Wii's suspend feature.

There is a level select cheat. From GameFAQs:

"Highlight 'Exit' on the option screen with controller one. Hold L + Start on controller two and press Start on controller one."

You hold the button down and release it when the guage is full. Each weapon has a different special attack, for example the dagger magic flashes the screen for a second and reveals any hidden chests on the screen.
