For those who don't know the highly anticipated title, Spore (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spore_%28video_game%29), which was previously announced as PC only has been confirmed for the Nintendo DS and 'other platforms'.

Formerly a PC-only release, a version of Spore will be heading to the DS. No release dates or other details were given outside of the confirmation of the upcoming games. In the past, Spore creator and Maxis chief designer Will Wright had expressed interest in bringing Spore to the DS and other platforms.

Jenson also said that more EA Sports titles will be making their way to Nintendo platforms.

“In short, we are on it,” Jenson said regarding DS and Wii support.

Still, this game I believe, will obviously be best preserved on the PC. Unless the Spore team has a trick up their sleeves we got that whole memory issue it would be hard. Also, will there be cross platform content sharing? PC to DS?

If you have a beefy enough PC, that is. That's why I gave up on computer gaming. Keeping up with the hardware demands is just a pain. For the price of an upgrade I can easily buy a new console and maybe a few games.

Highly doubtful. When's the last time you've seen a DS title with such a feature? There are none. Heck, PC-to-any-platform cross-compatibility is pretty much non-existent.
