The Simpsons on the vc?

Are there any simpsons fans that hope or wish that the old nes games would come out on the vc? Can anyone inform me on if they could ever come out?

Not really the NES games, but I would buy the arcade one in a heart beat. I don't think that was ever ported to a console so we're SOL.

The only ones I'd consider even remotely good are Bart's Nightmare and The Itchy & Scratchy Game, both for SNES and MD, every other one is really awful.

The homebrew community got it to dreamcast but with only 1 player allowed :(

Ive never played the NES games though. Id be interested in trying them but im not so sure.

It seems like the Simpsons licence is one that gets tossed around willy-nilly, so it wouldn't be too surprising to see a few games show up on the VC eventually. Not that I'd be too keen to play any of them...

I doubt it. I don't know if Nintendo still has the rights to them... as for the Arcade game, I don't think it ever came to a home console, which is unfortunate. I remember playing that game at Chuck E Cheeses when I was a kid, back when they used to have good arcade games... back when there were arcades. :(
