Shadow Dancer - Statue of Liberty boss

Hello,

I have problems to liquidate the young woman in latex boots on the Statue of Liberty in stage 3-3 from the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive game Shadow Dancer. She is not a breeze, she is a strong and hard to beat enemy. Could anybody give me tips for eliminating the girl? I would be very grateful for every help.

Hi Jan

Good question. This is one of my favourite games and should be on the VC soon for all to play.

The statue of liberty levels are pretty cool but as you say buzzsaw babe is a formidable opponent. To beat her you have to shuriken her head when it becomes exposed at the moment where she throws her buzzsaws to the ground. The buzzsaws block head shots generally.

You'll have to jump over the buzzsaws when thrown to the ground as it will roll towards you. After this she'll jump to another position and start the sequence again.

6 hits will take her out. If you are in a tight spot just use your ninja magic! :p
