Might as well start a main topic rather then bring back the recommend some Saturn Games topic.

Little question, the plastic bit that holds the leed to my 3D Controller can detach. Did Sega have any plans for this? o.o

Yes it was for a motion sensor that was never released, a NiGHTS sequal (called Air NiGHTS) was going to use it but it was all cancelled. Motion controls would've put the Saturn a long way ahead of its time!
