I wonder if we will get any of the Satellaview games on the VC? It would be awesome to get some of the Zelds's or Crono Games never before seen outside of Japan.

For those who don't know what I am talking about:

It would be interesting but most likely won't happen. In all honesty, I've played ZeldaBS on an emulator and it's nothing groundbreaking or incredible. You don't even play as Link, instead you're the Satelliteview mascot. The games events are based on a timer and if you don't trigger a certain event by a certain time (which the player is never aware of) you can't complete the task at all. Radical Dreamers also wasn't much of a game to begin with. It was more of an interactive story sort of thing and nowhere even in the vacinity of Chrono Trigger. Besides the majority of its elements were worked into Chrono Cross on the PSX.

Granted the games might not be the best in their class, but compared to allot of the garbage they insist on putting on the VC they are actually fairly good.

Pulse I would like them just for nostalgic sake. Also I like story/text based games, have you never played games like the original Zork series?

I would buy Mario Excitebike and The Legend of Zelda BS for the Stellaview.

Well, it would be if it was translated. Looks like a cool concept.

^^ The version I played was a fan translation. The game is basically the first Zelda with graphics that aren't on par with A Link to the Past and with remixed dungeons and new timed events that happen only when the clock reaches a certain time. For example Ganon's lair is behind the room where you get the first sword but it only opens at a certain time and on if you've assembled the Triforce. It was actually pretty disappointing as there is no dungeon to explore like in the original. You just get the Triforce parts, wait for the right time and walk in the door and there's Ganon. IMO the game is just not up to snuff to be a Zelda game.

Just so that you know there was several Zelda games on the Satellaview. The one you played sounds like "Zelda BS". The one I really want to try (I've not been able to get it to work in zsnes) is "The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets" which is a remake of "Links to the Past".

There are also allot more games that just those, Like a crono racing game which was fairly fun.

Here is a list of the games:
