Just curious what retro games, on the vc or not, haven't you beatin that you want to the most? For me, it's a couple of nes games:

Super Mario Bros. 2 & Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

There are probably hundreds of thousands of retro games that I haven't beaten...

The list is too big for me to write here. Theres so many games which seem impossible to me. Mostly side scrolling beat 'em ups.

Lemmings, It has lasted me since I was 4 and thats why I love it so much.

Gargoyle's Quest 2, It kept locking up on me at one point.

I've never beaten Vectorman 2, but that's not for lack of trying.

I got close once...that day will live in infamy.

The Legend of Zelda series is the best in my book. All of them up and down are great plays (and no, I don't count The Adventures of Link or those crappy Phillips CDi games), yet among all of them I beat, I never beat the original. I got to Ganon's level, but I accidentally bumped my NES and the game glitched and reset, so I lost it all. I refused to go all the way again, but I did it on purpose, as I want to beat it when I am 40 and still wearing out my thumb.

The Legend of Zelda series is the best in my book. All of them up and down are great plays (and no, I don't count The Adventures of Link [...)]

Sorry, but Zelda II still counts. It's awesome. :)

I have loads..but Breath of fire III and the 2 N64 LoZ's are the main ones for me.

Oh...and that treasure hunting game on Kirby superstar. I've never managed to find them all :(

Ah, this makes me feel so lame... I really haven't beaten any because I owned an NES when I was only five or six years old, and I was really bad at it as I remember.. I had almost all of the original favorites, though, and I played a quite a bit of each one. Maybe I should redeem my gaming loserness by buying all the old ones from the shop channel, haha.
