Looks cool. All I'm worried about is whether I'll like the 'on-rails' arcade shooter style, I haven't played a game like that for a long time.

This type of game is so dated. And Capcom's excuses don't fly for me. Having said that the game initially was going to be based on teh RE4 engine and be a similar type of game, they then proceed to say the choice was made in favour of an on-rails shooter because Wii gamer's "want fun, simple games". Wow. That's not just insulting my intelligence covertly, that's basically saying I'm stupid because I bought a Wii...

I agree, but the thing is, Ninty are the ones saying crap like to the devs. That the Wii is for the casual gamer and the non gamer.
But I will be getting this game since I love light gun games. It's just that they don't love me, as I always have major problems with them when I try to set them up.
But the Wii is already calibrated, perfectly, so as long as Capcom don't do what EA did with MOH: V and screw about with it (MOH: V's aim seemed to be an inch higher than where I was pointing. Red Steel's didn't), then i'm really gonna enjoy this :D

Oh you can just go sit in the car, Negative Nancy.
Besides, we all know RE5 is going to be ported to the Wii eventually after release, just like RE4: Wii Edition. Just be patient, doctor.

Certainly hope so. If they choose to go the PS3/XBox360 route, though, I fail to see it happening. The thing is, of course, that having played RE4 on the Wii, going back to the old control system is just going to seem like such a big step back that I don't know if I could deal. If the game's anywhere near as good as RE4, however, I will.

Thanks for posting the trailer dude, I'm liking this game alot and it will be interesting to play.
About RE5: Eh... I wont be buying it for the Wii even IF they made a port later in the future. To me, that game will need to be presented in the best way possible and seeing as the Wii lacks the power to present the game how it should be I will be no doubt putting my money into a PS3... or a 360 if Sony don't sharpen their game up stat.

Heh, I was about to make a topic on this.
This will no doubt be one of the best Wii games ever! I think I'd prefer having this to Resi 5..
