Alot of people have been asking me about the Rare Zelda games for GameCube, so I'm here to write a Review for them.
Just yesterday I got these two new Zelda games in the mail, I got The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker(Limited Edition with Ocarina Of Time & Master Quest) and The Legend Of Zelda: Collectors Edition.
Collectors Edition Review:
Zelda Collectors Edition is a GameCube Disc that contains four great Zelda games and a Demo:
1. Zelda
2. Zelda 2: The Adventure Of Link
3. Zelda: Ocarina Of Time
4. Zelda: Majoras Mask
5. Demo of Zelda: The Wind Waker
This pack runs in 60Hz and is much cheaper than buying these games off the Virtual Console and this pack has Majoras Mask(Majoras Mask might not even re-release on the VC).
There are glitches when you play Majoras Mask on GameCube but since the Wii has a better CPU all those problems go away, as far as I know.
My rating is 10/10.
Ocarina Of Time & Master Quest Review:
This GameCube Disc has two versions of Ocarina Of Time:
1. Zelda: Ocarina Of Time
2. Zelda: Ocarina Of Time(Master Quest)
3. Zelda: Wind Waker(depending on which pack you have).
This pack runs in 60Hz and is about the Same price as Ocarina Of Time on the Virtual Console(Double that price if you buy the Wind Waker pack).
If your so good at Ocarina Of Time and can beat it in a day and want a challenge than this is the Pack for you. Master Quest's dungeons are so hard you can die in the first dungeon if your not careful.
My rating is 7.5/10.
All Round Review:
The only problems with these games are the loading times when starting a game and saving a game, but these games are extremely rare and a great addition for any Zelda Collection, all games run at 60Hz when the PAL Zelda VC games only run at 50Hz.(I don't know about NTSC VC Games). These games are great for beginners for three reasons: Unlike the VC games the buttons at the top of the screen and the Item Select menu show the GameCube controller buttons, in the text people will metion the GameCube buttons not the Nintendo 64 buttons, these games have Rumble.
It feals like your playing a GameCube game not an old Nintendo 64 game.

This review is wrong, this game does run at 60Hz.
A cool controller you can use to play these games with:

Alright, I was especially wondering about the whole 50hz/60hz thing. Great review, it was pretty informative. Now I see why they're so rare( especially the collector's edition)!

You really notice the difference between the VC 50Hz and the GC 60Hz.
Master Quest is a great pack too, you get both of the greatest Zelda games ever made, Wind Waker and Ocarina Of Time.
I forgot to mention that you can listen to awesome "Zelda Main Theme Music" when your in the Game Selection of both the discs.

Here's a question. I mostly play games alone. Would I get anything out of the 4 swords GC game?

I can answer that: Yes, you definitely should! It's almost better in single player mode, since you have access to a bunch of different formations. I love doing the Hurricane attack while in the Diamond formation, it's like you're a giant spinning wheel of death! Ton of fun!

I forgot you can play GC Four Swords single player, I might buy it.

You have used lots of spelling mistakes, but I'll try to answer the question the best I can:

In other words Master Quest has much harder dungeons.;)
I haven't played Master Quest yet, I just finished the Virtual Console version of Zelda Ocarina Of time. Soon after I play and finish Majoras Mask, I'm going to start Ocarina Of Time again on Collectors Edition and then soon after that I'm going to play Ocarina Of Time again on the Ocarina Of Time and Master Quest Disc. After I've finished Ocarina Of Time so much I should be prepared for Master Quest...I hope. However I am going to play other games in between these Ocarina's so I won't have them all finished for about a year, that is just to much Ocarina Of Time for me to play in one go.

Too bad they don't make all Zelda Games like Master Quest. I wish i could have died in the first dungeon.

Really? I actually had more trouble with Wind Waker than Ocarina of Time! Than again, I'm almost never able to complete a Zelda game, so I guess they're all pretty hard to me.

The general opinion is that Wind Waker is the easiest of all the 3D Zelda games. It's the first one I beat and the only other one I've beaten has been Twilight Princess. I still haven't beaten Ocarina of Time thanks to a glitch in my N64 version in the Water Temple so I have to beat it via my GC version now (unfortunately I've only been able to beat the Forest Temple once, dang that Temple's hard). Anyways, I'm getting a little off-topic so I'll stop now.

All VC games run at 60HZ on NTSC machines.
50hz is a PAL thing thankfully.
Also they didn't say in the review it doesn't run at 60Hz
they were saying it'd be awesome if it ran at 60 frames per second (FPS) which is a different thing from 60Hz.

Oh, I thought they said Hz.
You can upgrade the Frame Rate using an Emulator on PC, if you back-up the N64 cartridge to PC.

I diden't finish Ocarina Of Time until a few days ago on the Virtual Console. The ending to Ocarina Of Time is pretty good.
I won't spoil the ending, but it makes the start of Majoras Mask make more sense.

Well, I already know what happens, although I have yet to see the cool cutscenes at the end.

Wind Waker was far to easy.
I don't see how that's even close to what i was talking about.
But Wind Waker was my first Zelda, so it was actually the hardest for me. Although now it's easier, the whole game play of wind waker makes the fighting fun. The bad guys just look funny and and you can bust a roll and jab on them.

I can totally beat OoT in less than 8 hours with 100% completion (Not entirely without the help of my good friends at Versus Books back in 1998 ), so I got Master Quest expecting to add maybe three hours at most to the total, but it took me like TWO HOURS to complete the Deku Tree! It usually takes me under ten minutes! Master Quest is the real deal

Good, I'm glad I'm going to get my money's worth.:)

We were talking about how all Zelda games should be like Master Quest, I thought Wind Waker should have a Master Quest. I did go off topic a bit.
