Ps3 HDTv

Hey guys,

Basically im looking at buying a HDtv, then a ps3. My friend works at retravision, so im getting these a tad cheaper. Just want to get some of your opinions on this one that ive picked out:

Its AUS dollars, not american.

I like it, and think it will suffice, but there's this model -

Where the only difference is 100hz. Is 100hz necessary? or a huge difference? cause I dont want to spend an extra thousand on it, if there's not a massive difference.
