Im going to take up review writing now, I did one on battle lode runner and I want to write some more, I don't know how good they will be but here it goes...
Crash of the Titans
Crash Bandicoot used to be great, it was one of the best games on the PS1, but sadly when Vivendi started to make the Crash games, poor old Crash has gone downhill, but now Vivendi has finally got the picture, and Crash may shine again.
Crash of the Titans is a 3D platformer for the DS, its avalible for other consoles, but this review is about the DS game, It is very enjoyable but the ride ends too quickly, as the game only has 14 levels, thankfully, each level has 4 gems to find and a hard mode which you will unlock once you complete the game.
If you have never played a Crash game then you probably will be wondering what the game series is like, well its simply a basic Run 'n jump game without a bunch of gimmicks, this game however does have the whole "Jacking" gimmick going for it, which I will explain later on in the review.
The gameplay in Crash of the Titans is great, however it does have a few flaws, once you start the game, after a quick cut-scene you will be on the tutorial level, which explains the game great while still being a lot of fun, but sadly enough, you can't replay it unless you make another file. Once you get near the end of the level, you will find Aku-Aku, trapped in a cage and you have to rescue him, in the other Crash games, Aku Aku was simply just an extra hit-point, but now, Aku Aku has a different purpose, now, you can use Aku-Aku to Jack a monster, which is when Crash slaps Aku-Aku on a stunned Titans face (Titans are the bad-guys in this game) and then Crash gets full control over it, this can be helpful, as Titans are much stronger then Crash (well, most of them) and some have special abilitys as well, such as crossing lakes, not everything about titans is good though, as they can't double jump and are much slower then crash.
I'll write some more later, hope you like my review so far!
