Am I the only person who remembers this game?

Nope, I remember it. It was pretty awesome and unique at the time. I've already done a bit of research on it's possibilities for VC as well.
Software Creations made the game. They got bought by Acclaim Entertainment. Acclaim Entertainment got bought by Activision, but the Acclaim licenses (Such as Plok) got bought by Throwback Entertainment.
Throwback has made some sports games for the GameCube and has said about the Acclaim licenses they own that they "are planning to bring some of them into the generation." So who knows, really?
Other notable games by Software Creations that could be nice on VC: Rock 'N Roll Racing, Solstice, Equinox, Kid Klown in Crazy Chase, Blaster Master 2.

Software Creations was great.
PLOK! had some outstanding music throughout, that alone is worth 800 Wii points.
and its just another truly great platform game on the SNES.
some minor flaws though, it got no save system. and there were two difficulty settings though:
on easy it ended right in the middle of the game leaving much to desire.
on normal it was quite HARRRD to get through.
man i'd love to hear these tunes again!! ^^
it was really memorable and better than..
..anything on SNES. ^^
Found something: http://youtube.com/watch?v=_qzhwcMWNiw PLOK MUSIC LOVE!
The music is almost too good for this game: http://youtube.com/watch?v=6WDiVBERrI8

About time someone else remembered Plok! What a fantastic -yet tragically -overlooked game this was. Hopefully it won't be too long until it appears on VC. :)

Well. 4 replies in one day!
I guess it isn't as hidden a title as i thought!
I actually purchased an unlabeled SNES cart at Game Crazy for a single dollar and it was PLOK!
They should sue the guys who "thought of" Rayman.
Anyway, I might record the main theme on Guitar pretty quick and put it on youtube along with my CT vid....
That would be cool...

When watching a speedrun of BODY HARVEST by Rockstar North (DMA Design) in the credits of that game was one of my favourite companies, Nintendo EAD mentioned twice. ^^
In Game Design and Special Thanks.
Nintendo's game designers instructed Rockstar North (developers of GTA3) to make BODY HARVEST more adventure like, much like GTA nowadays.
Indeed BODY HARVEST feels a bit like an early 3D-GTA with a different setting.
I hope this one will make it to the VC as well as the other excellent N64 Rockstar North game Space Station Silicon Valley.
