Magician Lord is the best platformer on the Neo Geo and it's one of the three confirmed games to come. So basically, we're already set platformer-wise.

I've heard some people saying that it's pretty action based, still might get it however.

I have also heard that blue attacks by picking up a baddie and then throughing them away, sounds a bit like Klonoa!

Ahh I have fond memories of Blues Journey. I still remember the first boss who says "Come on baby!". IIRC Blues Journey was one of the early releases.

Other than Blues Journey (http://www.neo-geo.com/reviews/neo-reviews/bluesJ/bluesjour.htm) and Magican Lord (http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8509) there was Top Hunter (http://www.neo-geo.com/reviews/neo-reviews/tophunter/tophunter.html), Spin Master (http://www.neo-geo.com/reviews/neo-reviews/spinmaster/spinmaster.html) and Cyber Lip (http://www.neo-geo.com/reviews/neo-reviews/cyberlip/cyberlip.html). In fact Cyberlip reminds me a bit of Metal Slug.

You can find more Neo Geo reviews on Neo-Geo.com (http://www.neo-geo.com). Should give you a better idea of what to expect while we're waiting for the games to be released. :)
