I see we have a majority of baseball fans so I thought I might start this up.
Well of course the yanks (like they do every year) are back into the playoff race regardless of the fact that they were 11 GB at one point of the season... And even if they dont take the East they will most likley capture the A.L. wildcard.
As for my D-backs we are one of the surprise teams of the year and are actually leading the division here in august! Even if we dont win the West I dont think there is any reason why we should not have our first winning season in 4 years. If some how we choke and end up below .500 I will see this season as one of our biggest chokes in franchise history.
Cubs fans here? Cards or Brew Crew fans? Well those 3 teams are going to make for a pretty whacky ending in the N.L. central though my money is on the cubs, the brewers just can't seem to win on the road and that will hurt them in the long run, and if they do make it to the post season no way can you advance playing on the road like that.
Well thats me rambling about my favorite sport...

My Os lost another close game. How many games will the bullpen lose?

You know, I'm from a state right next to yours flyingdutchman, and down there, most of the people are Giants and Dodgers fans. (Hint, hint) I really like the Yankees for some reason. I was a little kid and I decided that my fave would be the first team I saw. There were the Yanks, right there. lol

Yankees represent for life. It's hilarious that I'm a devoted Yankees fan living in Toronto, Ontario. But screw the Jays, they're nothing but hot garbage.

UUgghhh, well you can almost say you live here in Arizona because we almost have more dodger fans the d-backs fans, but I assure you that will all change when those bandwagon fans find a seat on the d-backs express :( Then us diehard fans will wonder where were these guys when we went 51-111 in 2004? Thats right for those of you who are not big on baseball a team has actually gone 51-111, worst year ever :(

The Yankees.....the best team money can buy:wink:
Even though my Os have a losing record they have won every series with the Yanks. Too bad we can't play them every day!

Well I am going to 6 straight d-backs games as we play the Brewers and Cubs (each 3 times, August, 20,21,22). I am pretty excited, I have never gone to this many straight games in a row so this should fill my always hungry baseball appetite. These 6 games will put my total amount of d-backs games attended up to 35, my record of games attended is 61 back in 2001 (counting playoffs).
I truly just love to head out to the ballpark and see my favorite team play. Of course I want to see them win every game but that is not going to happen, but I am there win or lose, something I wish more people did with their hometown team.

Oh I know, I really felt bad for O's fans, whats funny is that the O's actually lead that game 3-0, then Texas scored 30 unanswered runs. What is even more hilarious is the fact that this was the same day that the O's announced there new manager Dave Trembley (LMAO). Once again the O's franchise is just a mess and losing by 27 runs to a last place team is just the frosting on the cake.
The O's need to do something and they need to do it pretty quickly because the D-Rays are not going to be a last place team anymore by next year. If Angelos still has control over this team I can see them finishing in last place for 6-7 years...

One thing I spend my paycheck on more then games is diamondbacks merchandise and tickets, well today I have decided to do something that I have not done since 02, reserve cash for playoff tickets, thats right, I think we may just have a shot, though I want to get my tickets early because in all honesty, not to bash my team but I dont see us making a serious push in the playoffs.
But anyways I ordered a new flag that I bring to games and wave it around like a moron :p but I bring a few buds who do crazier things, (like when we sweep a series they bring a broom to the game and run around the stadium riding the broom like a horse). I also have two jerseys coming in the mail, a Justin Upton red alternate jersey and a Brandon Webb home alternate jersey, players that I still want to get is Chris Young and Micah Owings, maybe Tony Pena.

I have to ask this to the UK guys here, what soccer fans are the most ignorant? Like here in america the raiders are considered to have the most ignorant retarted fan base. So who's fan base most represents that? I have always heard New Castle fans are pretty brutal.

I totally disagree. I think Philly (Eagles, Philies, Flyers, sixers) fans are the most ignorant/most dedicated fans. The Eagles' fans are way worst then the Raiders. Just because a bunch of people dress in crappy costumes does not mean they can hang with the crazy Philly fans. Trust me, I'm not a Philly fan but I've heard horror stories from tons of people. Go sit in Philly and wear another teams jersey and see what happens.
