NBA Jam Tournament Edition FTW! 8) NBA Jam T.E. was great! It had so many fun codes to put in like playing as legends like larry bird and how could T.E. fans forget hilary clinton as one of the codes? That was a great game. I might actually download that one when/if they release it. I think and hope they will.

Licensing might be a pain, but it would be worth it; NBA Jam TE was a superb game. I know the arcade version was four player, but I don't remember if the SNES/MD versions were, as I never had a multi-tap for either machine. If they were, it would make for another good party game for the VC.

NBA Hangtime (N64) was the sequel to NBA Jam T.E. (SNES) and NBA Jam (SNES).

It had 4 player mode and better graphics and everything.
You know what I'm saying? Hangtime was the best version of Jam ^^
The could have called it NBA Jam 64 or something like that.

Acclaim retained the Jam licence, but Midway went their own way (!) with the game engine, so you'll get stuff like Hangtime which is Jam in all but name.

Short answer; it's not called NBA Jam 64 because they weren't allowed to!

They are 4 player i think(dont remember, wikipedia says 4 but can be the arcade ones), remember Hangtime where 4p atlast. And yes one hella party game.
