Mystical Ninja starring Goemon

When I saw that the Mystical Ninja game for SNES got released, I got excited, because it made me think of what was one of my favourite N64 games back in the day.

For those who haven't played, the first N64 Goemon game could be described as "Ocarina of Time lite"; it followed it's gameplay structure, with dungeons, treasures and large overworld areas to explore. It was not a hard game, but extremely enjoyable from start to finish, and had one of the best game soundtracks I've ever heard.

Has anybody else played this underrated little game?

yes of course. ganbare goemon 5: neo momoyama bakufu no odiri known as Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon for N64. impact is my all time favourite geomon character and song.
have beaten this game and the 2nd N64 goemon game perfect.
yae is tight.

i played VC The Legend of The Mystical Ninja (snes) a bit, but its not as good as the two N64 games. but i might try it out some time to give it a real go. this is definately no bad game.

both games are very japanese, feeling from graphics, music, humour, style. your entirely sucked into old odeo fantasy japan. i prefer the first one over the second one because it is better, it is an action adventure and it has the original japanese music in it, while the 2nd game (goemons great adventure in the US) is more a sidescrolling adventure very much like the snes goemon, only better, for 2 players (and 4 with a cheat I believe)

I've beaten both games perfect (all fortune cats / all lives / all missions).
They were addicting. Music is among the best on the N64.
