I have played this but imported? I see no point in this so: no.
This is a text heavy story based game in Japanese and i cant read Japanese.
It was fun playing the Japanese version but i stopped because I really want to know what's going on. What do the people say? I can only guess what's happening while watching the animations and cutscenes. It seems like a great game, maybe even better than Earthbound but...
There's nothing to do than wait for a translated version.
Or skip this game... I'm the last person on earth who wants to skip this game so all I can do is hope for a US/EU release.

Yes, I got it.
The packaging alone is worth the money paid. We can dream of manuals made that way.

I still didn't started, though. I already have a translation saved somewhere (but I know where to download it again, or even look for a new one on starmen), just need to have the the will to start.

The folks at www.starmen.net (http://www.starmen.net) have a translation in the works. Remember a patch isn't illegal, a rom itself is. The translate is a patch.

If I remember correctly, Japan has a Special Edition Mother 3 GB Micro.

Ah well, theres some Mother 3 related stuff in SSBB. Maybe if we hope and pray, it ll make the Mother series more well known and force Ninty to release a DS port of M3...

Of that you are wrong, I have been participating in EB Siege since it started, I call Nintendo 4 times a day (on every different phone) and have sent countless letters to NP.

I am absolutely crazy for Mother games.

Mother 3 is very definately the best game story-wise I have ever played.


And I have also been following the fan translation for a long time, and I'll download it the second it comes out, as it's legal since I have the cart! (+ GB Micro)
