They had it in Gamestation for £15 today and I'm strongly considering buying it when I get paid on Thursday.
I'm not really big on Pinball games, but I've been interested in this one for a while.
Is it worth me getting or should I just spend my money on something else?

I have strange feelings about this game.

I suggest you to have a look at it, maybe some plays, to see if it's good for you.
Apparently there's nothing wrong in the game itself: the tables are good, mode and events fit well in both classic pinball tradition and metroid-prime setting but I just can't get involved.

The arcade sections where Samus is in biped form and must shoot things are good, but last too much.
The normal difficulty goes away easily, but the Hard game is hard for sure:
you can dream of Extra Balls.
I've grown a totally racist prejudice against Triclops.
Points are low. We use to say "pinball scores" to describe ridiculously high numbers, why does this game change the things and lets you score games hust of millions of points? Why not hundreds of millions and then billions?

I tried several times to explain why I don't like this game so much, and I can't explain it clearly to myself, too. In my vision, tables make the 80% of the reasons why I like apinball or not, and these tables (I'm just counting the 2 main ones) are surely good....

I know this may be more confusing, but no one was ansering you, so I thought anything was better then nothing....

So far my favourite electronic pinballs are:
Pinball Fantasies (but we're talking of an 8086@8GHz CGA PC)
Pokémon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire
I had a quick look at Little Wing Pinball (http://www.littlewingpinball.com/contents/en/index.html) games, and they seem to be the ultimate pinball sims, but I just downloaded a demo and played for a very short time.

I LOVED this game. This is my favorite pinball game of all time. If you're expecting something Metroid Prime-ish, you may be disappointed, but the core pinball game in perfect in every way. Definetly in my top 3 DS games. Stop reading this right now and buy it.

This is my favorite pinball game of all time.

You mustn't have played a lot of pinball games then. =P

It's definitely one of my favorites on the DS, and it's a very decent pinball game with arcady bits thrown into it. Yet I would find it difficult to recommend any pinball game to a person who's already stated he's not into those types of games. Just because it's cheap(er) doesn't mean it's the game for you.
