Can the Virtual Console Grant the 64 games justice I have a Nintendo 64 so it dont bother me to download them but really can the Virtual Console control grant the 64 games their justice????? :samus-run: well just think about it The wii virtual console controller has a real lack to give the feel of the 64 but it gives a great feel to the classics. On personal note I bet u in 2-4 months their make virtual console controllers for each system, nes, supernes, turobgrafic and Nintendo 64 controllers to plug into the Wii. and y not more money for nintendo.

Mmmmmmmmh.
Are you sure this is the first time you get on these boards?
WHO are you?
I'm gonna advise some mod.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, you do not have to worry.
Something makes me think that you are a new account of a banned user.
So, if you're not him, you're allowed to think I'm just paranoid.

Yes I know, and I hope JAREDKNEPEL will accept my apologies if he isn't that user (as it looks he isn't, because we performed a check).
I had a feeling that his way of talking was something I already read...
I tried to be express both sides of my doubt in my message, though; he should have simply followed my advise and think I'm paranoid : )

Really? I didn't know there was ever a banned user on the forum...

More than one.
Nowm I'm going to answer at least a bit to JAREDKNEPEL as this is already the 6th post and no one enjoyed the discussion.
For the 64 vs CC, I never had a N64 so I can't tell you if they got that different feeling.
I feel almost perfect with my N64 VC titles, I don't think I need a different set of controls. Of course I see what you are saying, as in different situations I had to complain about not having the original controller.
About the scenario you depict...well I really don't think it will happen. You also say that in 2-4 months there will be various controllers, but if this was their intention those 2-4 months would have meant April 2007.
So if it didn't happen at launch, it didn't happen some months later, there are hopes it will not happen now.

i think that the classic controller itself is great. the N64 controller is cool but it was just a crazy design and i think you probably just want that feeling that you are playing an actual N64. i like to have that feeling like im playing the system as well but who knows.

I'm all for realistic simulation. I completely agree with you there especially when it comes to Nes games (the d-pad makes all the difference as well as the small low resistance buttons). However, for the NES, I think the Wiimote turned on its side is about as close to an accurate representation as we are going to get without actually having the original controller. In regards to the N64, I actually like the analog stick better on the Classic Controller. It sports a tighter and overall more responsive touch. It's buttons also have a better feel and don't give the sense that some day I'm going to have a problem with these things "sticking". For Sega and SNES games you couldn't ask for anything better as these are the systems it seems like it was truly designed after because it feels like the perfect mixture of both control schemes. The Classic Controller really is the "one controller fits all" pad.
I really don't see Nintendo releasing individual pads for each system. From a business standpoint, why not just make everyone buy one controller for every game. This forces consumers to buy one product but in mass quantity as it is almost essential to play these games right instead of having consumers buy a little of this and a little of that. Besides do you really want to pay more by buying a controller for each system. With Wiimotes, nunchucks, and the slew of other peripherals that the Wii currently hosts I'd rather keep things simple and cheaper with one controller for all systems. So in summation I really don't think Nintendo will ever go this route. However, you can always hope for some third party love.

I honestly did not like the n64 controler it just always felt like I was holding the wrong part. I what your talking about is that its small, so what. Someone will probably release a thing you attach to the cc to make it feal more like the game cube controller. (yes game cube not n64)
