Why wouldn't it? It would be a high seller.

But could the VC take that? Like the graphics and all?

Looking at Wiki the games we get is Neo Geo/Neo Geo CD.
So if its not any special emulation conditions with that game its fully possible.
X your fingers.

Any N64 title could crush that game in terms of processor need. Last Blade looks great due to the hand-drawn sprites and fluid motion and not due to any special effects that could tax a system.

Thought so. Makes sense.

Greatest 2D fighter of all time. SNK would be fools not to release it. Keep an eye out for:
Kizuna Encouter
Ninja Masters
Rage of the Dragon
Matrimelee
They are overlooked but extremely good fighters as well.

The Last Blade is an amazing series, I wouldn't doubt Neo Geo on releasing it soon.

Corrected.
Also, I seem to be the only one not seeing any appeal with this game. I rather just stick with the King of Fighter series. >.>

That you are, but IMHO, Last Blade > Street Fighter > King of Fighters > Samurai Shodown > Fatal Fury >> Virtua Fighter >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Art of Fighting.

I don't know much about fighting games, so I won't ContraDict you, but doesn't Art Of Fighting suck balls (I know you meant that, but there's really no point putting it there unless... Oh, I see, it's a joke :D). But seriously, what about the Marvel VS Capcom series (I've played them, and they're awesome!)?

That's not a Neo Geo game, nor was it released on any system currently supported by the VC, so I doubt we'll see it. As the game itself, it was pretty good, but a little too simple, and I got bored with it pretty quickly.
And as for Last Blade, I'm certain that it and its sequel will arrive on the VC eventually, just going to take a while.

But that's the beauty of MVSC2. Anyone can have a ton of fun by playing it right of the bat, instead of spending years and years and years memorizing every single move, tactic, and frame of animation... Who finds THAT fun?

I do. :|
Complexity adds varity, and gives you the opportunity to see yourself improve.
Pick-up-and-play is good if you have friends that'll enjoy it with you, but when it's just you, it gets old pretty fast; after a while you've seen and done everything that there is to see and do, and then what is there left to do?

Well it doesn't get old that fast since there are a good 50 characters.

Also please note that I was referring to MVC1,
Sorry about the mistake. On another note, I actually agree with you. Complexity makes games like Last Blade and Gulty Gear fun. I'm talking about games that force you to memorize every single nook and cranny of the game before you can even beat the first match (like Street Fighter 2, or at least the XBLA version). And I was exaggerating when I said who finds that fun. I just find fighting games that involve less memorization more fun.

But he was talking about the 1st one, which only has 12 characters (I misunderstood him, too).

Yeah, I don't blame you; I never really saw the appeal of that, just seems obsessive.
And to reiterate, I was talking about MVC1, which appearantly wasn't as good as MVC2.

Actually, I've never played many of SNK's fighters (except the first Samurai Showdown). Are Last Blade and Mark Of The Wolves really that good?
