I really cannot wait to see if any of these games come out to the VC.
I wasted so much of my childhood playing these games.
Expecially playing Super Sprint and Micromachines with my sister.
She stoped playing games with me because she thought I cheated T_T
Woe is me.

Agreed, all of these are amazing games.
Kung-fu is one of the earliest games I can remember. The arcade was called Kung-Fu Master and it was ported to every possible platform so I probably enjoyed it in all it's monochrome glory on the ZX Spectrum! :D
Micro Machines is another fond memory too. Codemasters were innovative enough to cramp two extra controller ports into the cartridge on the Mega Drive version so you could play 4 players! Hilarious fun driving over a school desk or breakfast table battling it out with some mates.
Super Sprint was another game I played to death on the ZX Spectrum. Great fun. Whenever I would get a chance I would play this at the arcades because it was a lot more fun spinning the steering wheel to make the tight corners.
Does anyone remember Snake Rattle N' Roll?

Micro Machines is always a blast, especially in multiplayer
It'd be good to have one of the older ones again, the newer iterations have never quite captured the charm of the older games.

I remember it well, including the warp on an early level, where instead of going through the level the normal way, you turned round and sprinted around the edge of the level, hoping to catch a rocket ship that would let you skip ahead.
I hope we see Micro Machines in some form, but given the licensing, I think it unlikely. As for Super Sprint, it's good and all, but Blitz! improved on it with Skidmarks and Super Skidmarks, and I'd much rather see one of those come to VC (I believe Super had a Mega Drive port, although it lacked the Amiga's "super widescreen" feature).

fond memory's of (almost) my whole family playing micro machines on the mega drive. the arguments about who shunted who first would run on for ages.
i remember there was a big fuss about its release on the mega drive first time round. the publishers never got a license from sega or something. hopefully it will come out on the vc soon and with a lot less fuss.
